What Frank is

Frank is an online service run by Frank Quotes that workshops use to take quote requests, prepare quotes and send them to you. When you send a request through the workshop's Frank page, you agree to these terms and you have read the privacy notice.

The quote is the workshop’s

Any quote, price, booking, repair or warranty is between you and the workshop. Frank is the messenger, not the mechanic. A quote can change once the workshop has inspected the vehicle; the workshop will tell you before doing extra work.

What you promise

The details you give are yours (or you are allowed to give them) and are accurate as far as you know.

Photos and video you attach are of the vehicle you are asking about. Keep other people, their number plates and their property out of them where you can, and do not include anyone else’s personal information without their permission.

You only record video when the vehicle is parked and it is safe to do so.

Your quote links and account

A quote link is private to you. Anyone with the link can see the quote and accept it, so do not share it. The workshop can replace or withdraw a link at any time.

If you sign in to see your quotes, the code we email you is for you only. Tell us if you think someone else has used it.

AI drafts

Frank uses AI tools to write a first draft for the mechanic from what you send. It is a starting point for a qualified person, not a diagnosis, and nothing written by AI reaches you unless the workshop has checked and approved it.

Offers and reminders

You only receive offers or service reminders if you tick the separate box asking for them. The box says who sends them (the workshop, and Frank). Every message has an unsubscribe link.

Fair use

Do not use Frank to send requests you do not mean, to harass anyone, or to try to get at information that is not yours. We may block requests that look automated or abusive.

Our responsibility

We do our best to keep Frank available and your details safe, but we cannot promise it will always work. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law.

The law that applies

These terms are governed by the law of New South Wales, Australia.

Changes

When these terms change we update the date below. If a change needs your agreement, your next quote request asks for it. Questions: privacy@frankquotes.com.
